Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000+ annually (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal with at least two years of immigration law experience to join our growing team. 

\n

Position Overview  

\n

The Immigration Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and managing a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple deadlines, and committed to delivering outstanding client service in a fast-paced legal environment. 

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities  

\n
    \n
  • Prepare and file a wide variety of immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation. 
  • \n
  • Draft forms, support letters, cover letters, affidavits, and correspondence for attorney review. 
  • \n
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, document requests, and filing requirements. 
  • \n
  • Manage case deadlines, maintain accurate case records, and ensure timely filings. 
  • \n
  • Coordinate responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other agency correspondence. 
  • \n
  • Prepare and organize evidence packets and supporting exhibits. 
  • \n
  • Conduct legal and factual research as needed. 
  • \n
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation for interviews, hearings, and court proceedings. 
  • \n
  • Monitor developments in immigration regulations and agency procedures. 
  • \n
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling client information. 
  • \n

Qualifications

Required  

\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of immigration paralegal experience in a law firm setting. 
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration processes and government filing requirements. 
  • \n
  • Experience preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications. 
  • \n
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • \n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software. 
  • \n
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and teamwork. 
  • \n

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate. 
  • \n
  • Bilingual proficiency. 
  • \n
  • Experience with both family-based and employment-based immigration matters. 
  • \n
  • Experience preparing applications such as:  
  • \n
  • Family-Based Petitions (I-130) 
  • \n
  • Adjustment of Status (I-485) 
  • \n
  • Naturalization (N-400) 
  • \n
  • Employment-Based Green Cards 
  • \n
  • Humanitarian cases including VAWA, U Visa, and Asylum matters 
  • \n
